Adrian Miles, 1958 – 2009

On Friday 15th May ‘09 the Managing Director of Clinic, (my employers) sadly passed away.

I had no real understanding previous to this of what he and Clinic meant to the advertising, marketing and design industry.

Yes, I knew he was responsible for the iconic branding on Virgin Atlantic planes’ and had launched numerous over brands with a great deal of success. But to see it make the front page of Campaign, Design Week and Brand Republic illustrates the affect that his career has had on the industry over the past 25 years.

My thoughts are with his wife Caroline & his son as well as the many people who were extremely close to this very charming man.
